The relationship between humans, computers and electronic devices has evolved rapidly, defining technology eras with shifts in the related information technology (IT) business leadership. From the one-to-many relationship – computer versus human users – in the enterprise during the mainframe era in the 1960s, computers moved to the family environment with the personal computer (PC) in the 1980s. With the mobile phone, they established a personal one-to-one relationship ten years later. We are currently moving to a one-to-many relationship with phone complements, WiFi routers, gaming consoles, MP3 players, set-top boxes (STBs), TVs and infrastructures with impressive computing and storage capabilities. A new concept of global and transversal platform is emerging for exploiting the real potential of the network and affecting all business areas.

(20.Oct. 11:00)- I guess at this point, one way or another will come to your ears the unexpected cancellation of the Open Source World Conference 2010 (Malaga, Spain), which that would be held in October in the city of Malaga. This is a problem for the dissemination of the progress of free software for Spanish and international society. Therefore, the Spanish Federation of Free Software companies, ASOLIF, with the help of external funding and grants, that can be done via Linux Magazine [1], that it has worked hard to support this action (link to the campaign support of Linux Magazine: - access to campaign -), has promoted a broadcast event this content as an alternative to the cancellation of the OSWC. The event will be held in Malaga on 27th October and will feature speakers from the very ASOLIF, HispaLinux, AJE and other organizations and entities. [?]
